High-Flow Silicone Induction Hose [MQB VW Audi Group]
TheĀ mountuneĀ high-flow induction hose for MQBĀ models has been engineered to increase air-flow to the turbocharger by creating a step-free, smooth-bore route without the OE convoluted sections.
Easy to install in a matter of minutes, it replaces the entire restrictive and unsightly OE plastic pipe between the airbox and the turbocharger inlet pipe.
TheĀ large diameter smooth-flowing silicone hose, is wire-reinforced in key areas and with a specific gauge wire which ensures it won't deform, but crucially still allows a degree of compliance so that the natural engine rock encounteredĀ does not cause any issues.
Direct airflow comparisons on our in-house flow bench reveal a substantialĀ increase in flow compared to the OE pipe, which translates into more performance from your engine, plus it adds an aestheticĀ boost to your engine bay, too.
The mountuneĀ induction hose has been engineered and tested as a perfect upgrade to our X3 intake system, but is also fully compatibleĀ with the OE intake, as well as any induction kits that retain the factory hose mounting point.
Available with a black outer / mountune yellow inner colour finish and compatible with all MQB EA888.3 1.8 and 2-litre cars.
Uprated hose clips are advised to ensure the hose is not damaged when tightened and for an aesthetic boost, please use our induction hose clip kit.
